Owned and operated by a father/daughter duo, meet Zach and Hannah Nicholson!
Zach Nicholson
Construction is a core memory for Zach as he watched his father build their house from the ground up when he was five years old. His father would occasionally take him to work on other people’s homes and to this day the smell of the construction site reminds him of being with his dad.
He now realizes he probably never actually helped on those projects, but realizes his dad was gracious for allowing him to think he was helping. Zach began working in construction as an adult in 2003. First in commercial construction where he implemented the safety program at a local, Houston area company and then became field manager there, overseeing around thirty crew members. After that, he became an estimator and project manager at another local commercial construction firm where he learned how to effectively price and manage jobs reaching over a million dollars. After moving away from Houston, he started his own construction company and enjoyed strong success in his transition from commercial to residential projects. After years of operating that business, the family moved back to Houston to attend to the needs of extended family. And now are excited to serve the families of the greater Houston area!
Hannah Nicholson
Hannah, Zach’s daughter and co-owner of Old Oak Residential Construction, is an entrepreneur in her own right. Having launched her own home service company after graduation and growing it to see tremendous success, she has also learned through experience the importance and skills of working closely with homeowners as they invest their hard-earned money into home improvement projects. They now join forces to become the best home remodeling firm in the area, and would love to meet with you to discuss the dream you have next for improving your home!
